George Hatfield was the oldest son of Rev Anderson Hatfield. His House was located at Dials Branch.
George married first Martha Hatfield, daughter of Valentine "River Wall" Hatfield. She died in 1898 and he remarried Missouri Dotson, who was the daughter of Ransom and Louisa Dotson of Peter Creek.
