Page 48 County Court Book 1, John Hatfield, deceased, is exonerated from
the Payment of the levy of 1807 out of his estate Oct 25,1808.
Page 58 Patsy Hatfield improperly listed her son Samuel as a tithable for
the levy of 1808. Ordered son exempted. County Court Book 1 Oct 1809 term.
Thomas Brown, collector of the levy of 1808, reports settlement on the
levy of 1808 has been reached with Lewis Conway, Jessie Hilton, Peter
Ford, Randall Salmons and Samuel Hatfield. Page 129 County Court Book
1,Aug Term
Jan 02,1811 Bond dated 2 Jan 1811 for Daniel Fryley and Samuel Brown for
a marriage shortly to be had between Daniel and Polly Hatfield. I hereby
certify that I am willing for my daughter Polly to marry Daniel Fryley.
Given under my hand this 2nd of Jan 1811. Signed Palsey Hatfield NOTE:
Notice they forgot to cross the T. NOTE: On the marriage bond Patsey
Hatfield is listed as Martha Hatfield. I have a copy. Daniel and Polly
were married Jan 03,1811.

administrator of the estate of John Hatfield deceased.
Page 169 County Court Book 3 Monday, August 17,1818. An amount of the
sales of the estate of John Hatfield, deceased, is received.

"John Hatfield decd. is exonerated from the payment of the levy of 1807
out of his estate."
There is no date on this page, but the note that the Floyd Co. courthouse
burned in Apr 1808, so this record book dates 1808-1813. Since John
Hatfield was exempted from taxes for 1807, but this was not acted on
until the next year, suspect he died in the year 1807.
